GOLDEN BOND.....................

Let me begun on this topic by raising a question that, have you ever come across any such person in your life, who has no friend? If conducted a survey, I think majority will side with “NO” response. And if we talk of exceptional cases, they easily find one in voyage of life certainly. Accordingly it’s easy to conclude that GOD is more altruistic in blessing us with friends rather than a blood relation for this world abounds in orphans and those with no brothers and sisters. But everybody has a friend. It means friendship is highly universal in character in analogy to blood relation. Hence it won’t be overt to say that such is the nature of friendship that we can’t adjust ourselves in life without it. It’s a most frank relationship because the level of openness we enjoy with our friend certainly lacks in blood relations. We are much more frank with our friends rather than our parents. Everybody will vote in favor of this statement of mine that our friends act as our confidential files. It’s real because it is based on mutual trust and understanding. This ‘real’ element in friendship provides a perfect base for frankness because we are open to those whom we trust thus making it relative too, but then relativity is a feature of every living as well as nonliving thing hence hardly required to be prominently mentioned. It is indispensable because of its very nature already mentioned that it is incredible to survive without it. It’s a hard core feature of our lives. It is evergreen as is proved by famous and popular saying that “old is gold”. As time passes it turns stronger and stronger. It’s dependable, for like our parents our friends are also ever ready to help us out in grave hours of life. They ease us, console us and make us strong because they care. It’s resembles with Gita’s ‘Nishkaamkarma’ and Kant’s dictum of ‘duty for the sake of duty’ because we act in friendship not with a purpose of gaining anything. It’s above give and take kind of business and conditions.  It’s even hilarious. It makes us mad. We laugh out loud and enjoy fearlessly thus it makes us feel on top of the world. It is innocent like a child because it understands the language of love which is beyond cast, color, race and religion and hence breeds on tolerance. It’s pure, for it’s a relation by heart rather than mind. What else to say than concluding briefly that this GOLDEN BOND of “FRIENDSHIP” makes our lives, “A WALK TO REMEMBER”……………
